Galt House

Galt House Hotel, located in the heart of Louisville, is the largest hotel in Kentucky and one of the largest in the Southeast. Official Hotel of the Kentucky Derby, the Galt House is a favorite of Louisville residents and guests to the city.

In 2010, the Galt House launched a one-of-a-kind holiday event “KaLightoscope Christmas” for the holiday season. The centerpiece of KaLightoscope Christmas, KaLightoscope is a landscape of larger-than-life, holiday lighted sculptures inspired by ancient Chinese art. Each is a multi-media display of color, lights and motion, some towering up to 24 feet high. Santa’s Midnight Flight over the World, Toyland and the breathtaking Nativity are just some of the twelve areas designed to awe and delight. Holiday music and aromas, interactivity and little surprises round out the environment for an unforgettable, holiday experience.
