“Together, we can turn revelations into results.“

— Heather Moody

Heather Moody started growing her first business, “The Refinery” at age 17 while still in High School. Sixteen years later she divested her ownership interest after building it into one of the Southeast’s premier luxury brand consignment destinations.

After growing and still co-owning The Refinery, Heather was recruited by and accepted a corporate position within the Strategic Alliance Department at Gaylord Entertainment in Nashville, Tn. In a short time, Heather rose to Director of the department after having secured over $30 million dollars in incremental revenue via corporate sponsorships and brand alliances for The Grand Ole Opry (Humana and US Bank), Ryman Auditorium (Nissan), WildHorse Saloon (Olhausen Pool Tables, Miller Lite Brewing Company), Gaylord Hotels (General Motors, Regions Bank, Nissan, Level One Vodka) and successfully leading multiple company-wide RFP’S.

After a rewarding and successful time at Gaylord Entertainment, Heather decided to go back to her entrepreneurial roots and started TVX Group. TVX which stands for “total value exchange” an industry-leading firm, was originally founded to focus on offering outsourced sponsorship services to companies in the entertainment and hospitality industries. While steering TVX, Heather has procured, negotiated, and secured over $25mm in incremental revenue for companies such as Herschend Family Entertainment, The Dollywood Company, Sixthman, Concord Music Publishing(Razor & Tie), and many more to date. After demonstrating her results focused abilities and unique skill sets, Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter, Kye Fleming enlisted Heather to assist her in managing and securing a recording contract for country music trio, Edens Edge. Soon after, the group was signed to Big Machine Records. In 2011, TVX Group/Artist Management added Americana award-winning, Dove nominated singer-songwriter Mindy Smith and would later form a joint venture record label with Smith, TVX/Giant Leap Records.

Heather has spearheaded the release of two records and multiple chart-topping singles, and music videos, as well as served as Co-Executive Producer of the compilation album, “Shelter Me” for the national PBS series of the same name.

TVX Records along with a carefully selected team of industry veterans including Lellie Capwell of LPC Media, Shawn Fowler of Tone Tree Distribution, the late Art Phillips (Radio Promotion), Fairlight Hubbard (Artwork, Photography & Video direction), and many more contributed to the #2 debut of the self-titled Mindy Smith LP on Itunes and a #17 Billboard Heat Seekers charting position. This was Heather’s and TVX Records’ first release and Smith’s first release as an independent artist. The self-titled record was produced by Jason Lehning.

Following up on the full-length album release, TVX Records released the 5 song EP, “Snowed In” by Smith. Smith’s self-penned title track of the same name was included in the Boston Globe’s 5 best new Holiday songs. Snowed In was co-produced by Mindy Smith and Grammy Award winning Producer Steve Buckingham (Dolly Parton, Mindy Smith, Linda Ronstadt, The Trio, and many more.)

Recently, Heather along with long-time client recording artist Mindy Smith partnered with Craft Recordings to reissue the Singer/Songwriter’s acclaimed Vanguard Records debut, “One Moment More” for the first time on Vinyl on the 15th anniversary of its original release. Smith offered fans an exclusive, autographed, artist only limited edition 180-gram clear coke bottle vinyl version along with handwritten lyrics. The limited-edition version sold out quickly. The Craft Recordings’ 180-gram black vinyl edition is still available online and at local record stores.

To commemorate the 15th Anniversary vinyl reissue, Smith and Moody worked closely with booking agent Laurel Silverleaf at Silverleaf Booking, and digital strategist Chandler Coyle to route and market an 18 city tour in which for the first time, Smith would solo acoustically perform the record in its entirety. The tour sold out venues from Atlanta to Seattle and returned Smith to the stage after a 6-year hiatus.

Heather continues to consult, advise, and collaborate with recording artists, content creators, and businesses while exploring other career opportunities and partnerships.
